Your 60-minute consultation determines size of painting, medium (oil or charcoal), pose, scheduling of sitting, overall approach and price quote. Kaye will happily review any questions you may have about the process.

This is an opportunity for the artist to get to know the subject and to find the perfect pose and lighting. Your 50% deposit is due prior to this appointment.

During the sitting, Kaye will capture pose and lighting with digital images. Depending on age and ability to sit for live paintings, these photographic images are used for reference as she paints.

Charcoal sketches are made to determine the best approach for a beautifully-composed painting. The client will have approval before work begins on the final canvas.
